At DW we offer a variety of classes for all ages and abilities in Ballet, Tap, Contemporary, Street and Jazz. Ballet and Tap follow set syllabi (Royal Academy of Dance and The Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance) with exams being taken regularly. We do regular performances within the community as well as large and exciting shows bi-annually showcasing everyone’s efforts.
We have classes available for children from 3 - 18 years old and also have adult classes available (styles dependent on branch)
All of our teachers are highly qualified in their field, with performance experience and teaching qualifications (ISTD and RAD). This results in DW students receiving a well rounded dance education. Although technique is important, we thinking it equally important that our students have the opportunity to perform in front of an audience to help build self esteem and confidence. To ensure this, we regularly perform within the community and all students have the opportunity to perform in our bi-annual Summer Shows, and annual Christmas Concerts.
At DW we pride ourselves on building close relationships with our pupils. Our classes are designed to offer a fun approach to learning a variety of dance techniques whilst giving every pupil the individual attention they need.
Holiday Clubs
We run Easter and Summer Schools where the students will have the opportunity to try a variety of styles and new skills, with a performance at the end!
School Clubs

We offer lunchtime and after-school dance clubs for all ages. These classes are designed to encourage children to keep fit whilst having fun and learning a new skill. They also have the opportunity to be in DW shows, and get show off their moves in their assemblies and school fetes.
