About Us
At DWPA we offer a variety of classes for all ages and abilities in Ballet, Tap, Contemporary, Street and Jazz. Ballet and Tap follow set syllabi (Royal Academy of Dance and The Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance) with exams being taken regularly. We do regular performances within the community and large exciting annual shows showcasing everyone’s efforts.
We teach Diddy street and Baby Ballet right through to adults!
All of our teachers are highly qualified in their field, with both teaching and performing experience. Not only do we think it is important for pupils to learn core skills, we also think it is equally as important that they gain experience and confidence in performing in front of others. We therefore perform regularly in the local community and we have fantastic opportunities within the West End and beyond.
At DWPA we pride ourselves on building close relationships with our pupils. Our classes are designed to offer a fun approach to learning a variety of dance techniques and giving every pupil the individual attention they need.
HOLIDAY CLUBS
Students get to learn a variety of styles alongside singing and acting with a fab performance at the end!
We offer lunchtime and after-school dance clubs for all ages. These classes are designed to encourage children to keep fit whilst having fun and learning a new skill. They also have the opportunity to be in Dance Wright's shows and they get to show off their moves in their assemblies and school fetes.
